SCOPE OF WORKS:
The project involves reconstruction and extension of the bio-mechanical urban waste water treatment plant in the town of Wągrowiec.

The plant capacity after extension:
Average daily discharge (Qdśr) = 3,360 m3/d
Maximum daily discharge (Qdmax) = 6,000 m3/d
Population equivalent = 34,440

Following the extension works, the plant will have the capacity to receive waste water from the present sanitary sewage with a 10% reserve for prospective growth of the agglomeration. At the moment the plant treats communal and industrial waste water from the sanitary sewage. The plant treats also septic tank waste water.
The project foresees: construction of new technological facilities; partial closure of old facilities; shutdown and closure of the old part of the treatment plant once the new technological line has been launched. The works will be completed in stages so as to enable execution of the construction works with ‘maintained traffic in the plant’, i.e. without disruption to technological processes
